# OUR TEACHING APPROACH – EXPLORE, BUILD, AND APPLY

At Parkour DXB, we’re not just about perfecting leaps and landings; we’re committed to creating a well-rounded experience for every student. Our teaching is rooted in three core styles of learning: **Explore**, **Build**, and **Apply**. This isn’t just about parkour— it’s about equipping your child with skills and lessons that they can use in their everyday life.

 

## **EXPLORE – TIME FOR SELF-DISCOVERY!**

The **Explore** phase is where it all begins. At this stage, your child gets to:

- Discover the space around them.
- Understand both their strengths and interests.
- Exercise their uniqueness.
- Unleash their creativity.

This approach is similar to a child figuring out the world, wandering around the new place and discovering their surroundings!

## **BUILD – TIME FOR STRUCTURED GROWTH!**

The **Build** phase takes the learning from the exploration stage and puts them to work:

- Improving skills based on those newfound discoveries.
- Sharing knowledge among peers and coaches.
- Setting achievable goals to aim for.
- Keeping tabs on progress, one milestone at a time.

Think of this as akin to the academic years, filled with valuable lessons, setting goals, and laying the groundwork for future successes!

## **APPLY – TIME FOR THE REAL DEAL!**

All set and ready to go? Time to test those hard-earned skills. This phase includes:

- Tackling a variety of parkour challenges with newfound confidence.
- Putting those mastered techniques to the test.
- Reaping the rewards of hard work—the ‘pay-off.’

This phase resonates with real-life scenarios such as starting a new job, where you apply what you’ve learned to succeed in your role.

## **BEYOND PARKOUR: A LIFE-SKILL APPROACH**

Whether you’re learning a new skill, experiencing the first day of school, starting a new job, or even navigating a new environment, this approach can guide you through the process efficiently.

Even our curriculum has gone through the same exploratory and building phases before becoming the effective curriculum that it is today.
